Three government Ministers attended the launch of the Ashbourne Youth Centre last night, alongside Foróige staff, volunteers and young people.
Minister for Children & Youth Affairs Katherine Zappone, TD; Minister for Employment Affairs & Social Protection Regina Doherty, TD; and Minister of State for European Affairs Helen McEntee, TD; all attended the launch. The event also had widespread support from the local community.
Dedicated volunteers have worked tirelessly for the past six years to open this youth centre, a special mention is due to the volunteer committee comprised of Alan Tobin, Cllr; Maureen Bolger; Theresa Byrne; John Dollard; Lisa Phelan and Danielle Dormer.
